There's a measurement behind this mural that you can't see but that explains the whole thing: the moon is high up because down low it wouldn't have fitted. A tall headboard eats the lower third of any paper you hang behind it, and here the mountain line starts just above the upholstery instead of being cut in half by it. The second decision is less usual: each nightstand has two lights, a pendant and a lamp, and they aren't there to be switched on together.
Items shown are similar to those in the video, not necessarily identical.
A thin metal strip, usually one to two centimetres, for finishing the edge of a mural or drawing a line where the ceiling springs. The narrower it is the better it does the job: wide, it competes with whatever it's framing. Check the finish matches the rest of the metal in the room, because polished brass and matt gold set a metre apart give each other away immediately.

It's the answer when the wiring is already in and you don't want to cut into the wall. Check it takes the cable size your light uses and that it matches the drop's colour, since it sits in plain view at hand height.

What you're really buying is length: order it longer than you think and trim on fitting, because a short cable forces the lamp up and you lose the directed beam that justified it. The usual measure leaves the bottom edge some sixty or seventy centimetres above the nightstand top.

On a continuous design the first drop decides all the rest: a millimetre out of true and the error multiplies until it shows where the mountains meet. A self-levelling model saves you adjusting it by hand.

It's the cheapest change you can make to a piece of furniture and the most noticeable. Before buying, measure the centres of the existing holes: if they don't match, either buy to that spacing or fill and drill again.
